February's Philanthropy:
CAUSE: helping America’s Military Wounded . At January’s luncheon I had asked everyone to bring used DVD’s and games but, however, after speaking to Cause again their need has changed. They are now in the need of electronic handheld video games to place in the packages that they give to the wounded warriors staying at Ft. Belvoir and at Walter Reed. By handheld video games I am referring to those that you can find at any store in the toy sections such as Solitary, Uno, Simon, Poker or any such titles (not PSP, or Nintendo DS). These games average about $5.00 or less. If you have any questions, please feel free to me. Just drop your donations off at the Philanthropy Table at the February Luncheon. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the Gift Card Drive for the families who experienced losses due to fire. Thanks to the generosity of our BOSC Members we donated more than $1200.
